Wine is of course one of these substitute beverages that's been popping up in the Swedish vocabulary ever since the first charter trips to Spain and Italy.

Swedes living in the US have been known to pick up the odd bottle now and then, mostly out of curiosity but sometimes out of a desperate need to drink something/anything that is not a diet thing or caffeine free or whatever free, and - very important - only if the dinner to be enjoyed doesn't include herring.

With a certain amount of hesitation I plan to offer some entries into the field of Wine on line. Including wines and books and magazines about it. Products for the real Wine enthusiast. Just don't get carried away!
